Behind the Scenes: A Visit to Our Italian Factories

A trip through Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany visiting our manufacturers
Behind the Scenes: A Visit to Our Italian Factories
Stop 1: Capri — Crafting Our Knits and Wovens

Our first stop was Capri, where we collaborate with a boutique manufacturing facility specializing in premium knits and wovens. The attention to detail here is truly exceptional. Each prototype is crafted with remarkable care, showcasing a level of quality that matches our highest standards.

During our visit, we held fitting sessions for upcoming pieces that are soon heading into production. We also spent time reviewing the manufacturing floor — it’s always inspiring to see the dedication that goes into every stitch, handled by a small, passionate team, often family-run.

Stop 2: Prato — Home of Our Winter Accessories

Next, we headed to Prato, a city famous for its rich textile history. Here, we visited our accessories factory, where all of our winter essentials — scarves, beanies, and luxurious wool and cashmere plaids — are produced.

We had the chance to dive into the process behind making custom colors, understanding the theory and craftsmanship that bring our designs to life. It was a privilege to meet the wonderful team behind these pieces and learn more about the traditional techniques they use to ensure every item meets the highest standards of warmth, softness, and style.

Why These Visits Matter

These trips are about more than just checking production — they’re about partnership, trust, and respect. Seeing firsthand how our products are made allows us to refine details, solve challenges early, and most importantly, maintain the level of quality that defines everything we create.

Working with small, often family-run teams reminds us why we do things the way we do: prioritizing craftsmanship, transparency, and meaningful collaborations that last.

We’re proud to continue building with our Italian partners — and we can't wait to show you the pieces that are coming soon!
